Deceitful unreliable rip off service charges do not service what they sell
We have purchased two new trailers from DeHaan RV on the way to our retirement trailer, a 36 foot 5th wheel and we will continue to only see them for our RV needs for sales and service. We did see the model trailer we wanted on their lot, but since we wanted dual pane windows, our trailer was ordered from the factory. When it arrived, we were surprised that our trailer windows only had two 3” X 6-1/2” screens for the bedroom, one on each side of the bed. The bedroom exit window did not have a screen! The model with single pane windows had 8” X 8-1/2” screen openings on each side of the bed and a 16-1/4” X 25” screen window at the exit window, a huge difference. I wanted to contact the manufacturer directly to point out the defect, and after six months of chasing from department to department, I was totally exhausted and amazed at the lack of their ownership for this engineering lapse. This is where Kylee took over and relentlessly communicated to the manufacturer my frustration and need for an adequate bedroom window. It took some time, but she did get a warrantee replacement exit window with a 16-14″ X 25” screen! Working with the DeHaan Service Department is easy. When my trailer needs service, they ask me when I plan to use the trailer and then they work out a schedule for me to bring it in and they have it ready as promised.
